Wire S2

Welding electrodes and welding wire are the most important welding consumables that are produced and supplied according to the world standards such as AWS and DIN. Due to the importance and sensitivity of welding joints, the quality and cleanliness of the steels used to produce wires used in the electrode and welding wire production industry are of particular importance.
According to the JIS G3503 standard, SWRY11 wire is used to produce coated electrodes according to the AWS A5.1 standard, including E 6013 and E7018. S2, S2Mo, and S4 wires are used to produce electrodes for the submersible welding process, and the chemical analysis of these wires is in accordance with the DIN EN 756 standard.
SG2 and SG3 wires are used to produce welding wires used in shielded gas welding processes and their chemical analysis is in accordance with DIN 8559 standard. The mechanical and chemical specifications of these wires are included in the following tables.
